  1. A contract is nice, as it represents security.

    With only 1 year of experience, you won't get too many real challenging design jobs.  But if someone offers you a good design job, take it.

    You may have to spend another few years as a site engineer to gain experience before working as a true design engineer.

  2. Real life is site works, there you can learn more and enrich your experience, desk work will become routine and boring
