  1. florida is probley better

i dont know what an earthquake is like though because i live in indiana but i have been to both states and in my opinion florida is better

  2. CALIFORNIA!

it's absolutely amazing! Your very lucky if you get to live there!

it's beautiful plus florida is way to hot and they always get hurricanes.

speaking of that they have a tropical storm going on as we speak, which

will probably turn into a hurricane...

you best bet would be the beautiful California :)

  3. I would say California is better, in terms of diversity, climate, shopping, sight seeing... Here, you could get REAL Chinese food, Mexican food, Sushi, Indian food, Mongolian, Thai, Salvadoran, Brazilian, Pakistani, Spanish, Korean, Argentinean, Chilean, Peruvian, etc. All cities and communities are amazingly diverse. You find people from all over the world and get to appreciate different customs and cultures, from Eastern European, to African, to Asian, South American and beyond. Sometimes, you are even surprised to hear a conversation being conducted in English. Sure, English is the official language, but there are a great many languages that are widely spoken, and it contributes to the state's great cultural diversity. The wintertime ranges from frost-free and mild, to snowy and brutal, depending on where you are at. In February, you could enjoy a warm day in Southern California, go surfing in Monterrey Bay or go snowboarding at Dodge Ridge or any of the ski resorts in the Sierra Nevada. California also has amazing natural backdrops. If you are in the valley, the Sierra Nevada stands high in the east and remains snow-capped up until about late April, even though temperatures in the valley climb up to the 80 and 90 degrees Farenheit. From what i've seen, Florida is completely flat, with no mountains to break the monotony.

About the earthquakes, you hardly ever feel them. I think the last earthquake i felt was in August two years ago. It was a small one (4.6 i think) and was centered about 80 miles south of our city. It lasted less than 10 seconds and there was nothing more to it. Nobody here seems to worry about them.

  4. it all depends on where you're from.I'm from the east coast and I'm used to the sun rising and setting at dawn. In Cali there's light in the morning and everything but the sun only really comes out at like 2 pm and I hate that. Also there's a lot of smog in California but the outlets are amazing there! so is Disneyland.Florida is definitely hotter and has way more hurricanes. It depends on what you really want. I would go with florida.

  5. I'd go for California, but it's alot more expensive than Florida.  As for the earthquakes, most of them you never feel.  I have relatives that live there, near San Francisco, and that's what they tell me.  Plus CA has more variety than Florida.  Florida is very flat, the flattest state in the U.S.  Hot, humid, weather in the summer and lots of bugs.  I have a friend in TN who used to live there.  Winters are much nicer.  Of course FL has all the hurricanes, which I hear are no fun.  I hear that when it rains it pours in FL so you better pack an umbrella if you go there.  It's more affordable than CA.  I've been to both on vacation and had fun in both places.  But I only do FL in the winter.

  6. Florida, California has all these restrictions and there air has weird chemicals(I was reading the propane tank and it said it could be hazardous if it's burned in CA because of the byproduct when it mixes with the air)

  7. California.   More places to see and great cultural diversity.  Best of all, you won't get struck by lightning.
