What is better LCD or Plasma?

I'm looking for a T.V and I'm not sure which kind to buy.

Can anyone give me some help?

If you watch a lot of movies then buy a plasma.  They typically have better black levels which makes the other colors pop.  It's a myth that large plasma's cost more than large LCD's.  As the size decreases, LCD's becomes less expensive.  You can't even buy a plasma under 40 inches.  

If you play video games then buy an LCD.

Plasma only lasts about 4 to 5 years, because it runs out of "plasma".  LCD would last much longer.

LCD

Pros:

Last longer, great for action movies or sports, no burn in affect, thiner, less expensive.

Cons: Depends on room light, smaller sizes, low contrast.

Plasma

Pros: Vivid colors, looks great with or w/o light, crisper, more elegant looking.

Cons: Last only about 5 yrs, burn in, ghost image, not so good for video games or action movies, plasma starts fadding, high power consumption, pricier.
