What is better a Mazda 3 or a toyota corolla?

Well im getting a new car but idk if i want a mazda 3 or a toyota corolla but i really like the mazda 3 but idk plus the mazda is cheaper then the corolla that i am looking at so if anybody can help thanks- Ashley F

Toyota's are NOT as perfect as everyone thinks, nor do they get the fuel economy they rave about. You will save alot of money upfront buying the Mazda, but you really should buy whichever one you like better.

I see in excess of 10,000 cars per year, and can tell you that consumer reports may in fact be the poorest place to check on vehicles

The corolla is more reliable and has better resale value, but it costs more, and its really boring to drive.

The mazda is fun to drive, is pretty reliable, but doesn't have the resale value that the toyota does.

If i were you, i would chose the mazda 3 just because of the way it drives.

Test drive both of them and see how you like it.

In terms of reliability, they will both be good, but the Toyota will last longer. In terms of resale value, the Mazda is just about equal with the Toyota, expect maybe a little more return on the Corolla. In terms of MPG, the Corolla will exceed every car in the class that is not a hybrid.

But, if you want a stylish, performance oriented, well-priced car, the Mazda 3 is the way to go. The Mazda is the car that the people that want to stray away from the pack of Honda Civic's and Corolla's.

Therefore, I would be the Mazda to be unique, but for generic transportation to get form Point A to Point B, the Toyota would be better.

well it depends on wut type of driver u r. r u a practical driver that just wants to get from point A to point B or r u a sporty/ fast type of driver???

The Mazda 3 is for a person who likes performance but also like to zoom zoom evry where...

The Toyota Corolla is very nice as well but its just 4 tha everyday person tipical personal, and also vry vry vry gud on Gas!!!

Mazda 3 is sporty, but it's not safe at all.

Toyota Corollas are the most boring cars to drive.

If I were you, I would buy a Civic. It's fuel efficient and handles well.

i would go for the mazda. the mazda is a little more rare. i see corollas everywhere i go. The 3 also looks nicer in my opinion. If your looking at the corolla xrs then your looking at a 2 hp difference between the two ,toyota have the advantge. but if you look as the basic trim level for the corolla then definitely go for the mazda.

The Corolla is overall a better value for your money and gets better fuel economy.  The Mazda is sportier, but beyond that, Toyota's the winner.

Tough one, my brother has a Mazda 6 and my parents just got a Toyota highlander today. So, i would have to say the Mazda would be a better choice, not SUV. its more sportier and gets really good gas mileage. Both are great vehicles. I think either one of them would be a great choice. The toyota might last longer, but the mazda will have better driving performance. Hope I helped!

mazda3 is more fun to drive

Corolla is the best selling car in the world but I believe that other makers cars are getting better and the corolla is staying the same. So it's not broke don't fix it but they have better cars for the same price.
