What is better an atv or adirt bike?

a thumpstar 125 dirt bike or a 250 yamaha raptor

Dirt bike. You can go more places and master more skills than with a quad, and you're less likely to tangle with it when you crash (and you will.) And it's easier to transport - you can even use a bumper-mounted rack for a dirt bike.

Also... get protective gear!

Really thats based on your own opinon.

I have both a quad and a dirtbike and i love them both.

I ride my dirt bike more though.

i think it is so much more funn.

its alot more chalenging than a quad.

you can do sooo much more on a dirt bike than you can on a quad.

and i also love it becuz not very many gurls ride dirtbikes.

thay all ride quads.

but you know thats my opinon.

i have to say though of the two bikes you lister i would have to go with the raptor being better.

but if it was a 250 yamaha dirtbike.

i would totally have to chosse the bike.

i personally like dirtbikes. you can do more stuff and go more places plus when you fall you dont get hurt as bad because dirtbikes weigh less and you can kick them off of you if they land on you. if you do get a quad get a 350 raptor. my friend has one and i love riding it. a 250 would feel small to me. but if its a first bike get a 250 quad or an 85 or a 100 dirtbike
