  1. You know what, i luv your description~!

I use manual because you cannt hump electrically.....

    can you????

  2. i saw on the news that both do the same amount of cleaning except that you might brush a little longer with the electric.  I changed to electric  a couple of years ago and i love it. I love how easy it is and it seems easier to brush the insides/back of your teeth with the electric.

  3. I used to have 1-2 cavities every time I visited the dentist, and I always used to get the "flossing talk" because I only flossed about 3 times a week and apparently the dental hygienist could tell. I also only brushed about 10 times a week instead of after every meal.

I got an electric toothbrush and didn't really change my habits too much (although using an electric did make things more fun and interesting) and the hygienist knew as soon as she looked in my mouth that I got an electric brush since my teeth were so clean (of course, she didn't think that I had changed my habits!).

In short, spending $100 on an electric brush has saved my hundreds on dental fillings. If you already take care of your teeth, you probably don't need to spend the money. If you are lazy when it comes to dental hygiene, it might be worth it.

  4. Defidently manual.  You can't have s*x electrically......

  5. Manual Toothbrush:

    Pros

    Inexpensive

Most have an easy grip handle

Some come with a tongue scraper

    Easy to travel with

    Cons

No built in timer to tell you when two minutes are up

Can be difficult for some people to hold onto firmly

    Electric Toothbrushes

    Pros

    Most have larger ergonomic handles

Some have built in timers that let you know when you have brushed for a full two minutes

The feel and buzzing of an electric toothbrush feels good to a lot of people

    Some electric toothbrushes dispense toothpaste

    Cons

Some electric toothbrushes can be quite expensive

Most electric toothbrushes require charging or battery replacement

    (I use Electric Toothbrushes )

  6. interesting that someone went down and gave thumbs down to everyone.

my dentist just recommended a Braun.  which i already have.  and it works very well.  much better than manual.

  7. Electrics are better.

Easier on your gums and get hard to reach spots on ur teeth

  8. I used to have one of those sonic care contraptions and I really didn't like it.  I seriously thought, "how lazy do you have to be to have something brush your teeth for you?"  I honestly think a regular toothbrush is best.  It gets the job done.  Why fix what isn't broke?  Plus those electric ones are a waste of money.
