What is better for a ps3 on a HD Tv, a s-video cable or a component cable?

I don't think s-video supports HD.

HDMI is the best, if not use component...

[Edit] - just spotted the PS2 info.  Definitely use the component cable...

Component cable will give you a better picture.

Composite is just an all in one signal

S video splits it to chroma and luma so you get two channels

Component is RGB so you get 3 channels.

The less info per channel the better the picture.
