  1. I'd recommend using the blow-dryer. It saves paper, which also saves trees! :-)

  2. i personally do neither, wipe it on my pants or back of my shirt.... but thats me.

I would have to say the paper, while against most convetional thought, trees are a renewable resource, electricity derived from coal or fossil fuel electric plants is not.

Savings trees may be a more easily seen result of conservation, the long term effects of depenance on fossil fuels (gas prices) is starting to creep up on us.

It is essential not to be wasteful and support the proper management of forests. Trees can be farmed much like food, with the proper management it can be the most valuable resource we have.

  3. It depends on the origin of the electric power:

if it is hydro -- then blow-drier

if it is wind -- then blow-drier

if it is oil -- then paper

    if it is nuclear -- then 50 % blow-drier, 50 % paper.

  4. Most of the blow-drier machine works with electricity power. If the electricity which consumes for drying your hand costs higher less than the energy that you need to spend for production of new paper towel and recycling the used paper towels, it is logic to use blow-drier machine (mostly is like this). But sometimes you are on hurry and drying your hand using a blow-drier is time consuming so you just use some towel papers :)

  5. Id say paper, because even though you are saving paper by using the blowdryer, you can control how much paper you use, but you cant control how long the dryer goes for, which uses energy..... or even better, keep a small cute hand towel or hanky in your purse, and interchange it with a new one ever day.

  6. Wipe hands on shirt of pants.   There, I saved you lots of energy.
