  1. I think that they are both equally important and go hand in hand. Your parent(s) can teach you to be the best person in the world with the most respect and manners. However, it will only get you so far to be a great person if you can't read, write, or do math. I'm not answering this question with biasness being a teacher because I do not think I would be where I am without my grandmother, but my teachers also offered me realistic information that my family couldn't give me. Overall, one type of learning can almost be useless without the other.

  2. I definitely think that learning from parents is better. Anybody can teach someone math or english and most of the stuff you learn from teachers is simply forgotten unless you actually need it. But when parents teach you something its pretty hard not to remember it. Also, parents can teach the same things teachers teach for the most part and still give the life long lessons; but teachers are obligated to teaching a certain subject that one may never use in life.

  3. Parents definitely.

They have a way of explaining complicated things so clearly that we pick it up.

  4. You can learn important life skills from both.  Your teacher is there to educate you in subjects that will help you learn to solve problems in the future.

Your parents are there to teach you how to become a productive member of the community.
