What is better monopoly or pictionary?

Pictionary is way better, it's a great guessing game. it keep everybody active especially the brain.

on the other hand

Monopoly, aleast  56% would say that they get bored.

Monopoly is better because it encourages people to fight eachother.  Like when my wife ALWAYS gets the Boardwalk, and tries to extort the one railroad I have.  Then she'll make deals like, "I'll trade you Boardwalk if you do the dishes and laundry for the next week."

It really depends on what you are looking for. Monopoly is a very long roll-and move boardgame, best for a more sedentary setting where you have plenty of time (and nothing better to do). Pictionary is more of a creative social game. It's much more fast-paced, but then there's not much to it - and contrary to popular belief, you don't need to be a good illustrator to do well in the game. As a matter of fact, many artsy types do poorly because they take too long on the illustrations.

When it comes down to it though, neither game is particularly good. There is an entire world of boardgames out there that are far superior to anything you will find on the shelves at Wal Mart.  Take a little time and stop by www.boardgamegeek.com. You will be glad that you did.
