What is better public,private or home school?

I can't think of a single good thing to say about socialist government schools.  They are another F***** up experiment that is failing miserably.

Private school?  It depends on how acceptable their philosophy is; most private schools are religious in nature.  Also, it depends on what you can afford.  Private schools are usually better than public, if you can afford them & accept ALL of their instruction.

Homeschooling?  Your child's homeschool experience is as good as the teacher.  I would say homeschooling is your best way to teach values & solid education. IF you take it seriously & provide your child with the best materials & time that you can then it is great.  If a parent wants to homeschool so that they don't have to get up in the morning & take the kids to school, that's not so good.

For my children, homeschooling is best!

We think it is best because I want to educate them as individuals-not as something to fit in the cookie cutter mold that public, and even private, schools do.  That is the short answer.

If you have an intelligent, dedicated individual (or individuals) in charge of homeschooling, it is an excellent program. I was homeschooled for years, and my grades in private/public school have always been high. You get tons of attention and get to work at your own pace. Private school is also good, if you have the money for it. Classes tend to be smaller and there is more individual attention. There also seems to be less crime/violence in private schools. Public schools are the worst option... too much s*x/drugs/violence, too little emphasis on academics and too much emphasis on athletics, etc.

It would be tough to beat the top private schools. There are also some excellent publics. magnets and publics in very affluent areas. Home schooling is only as good as the imagination of the person running the program. But let's face it, most public schools stink in this country, there are a ton of pathetic parochial schools, most private schools aren't great and most home school programs are not impressive.
