What is better sega or ps1?

I'd say PS1 - it had a greater range of games and better graphics. Whilst the Sega games were great for their time, I found them repetitive.

Things like Tekken and GT3 on the PS1 were groundbreaking as was the original Smackdown.

My final answer - I'd cheat and say PS2 - why? Well it plays PS1 games, and you can get the Sega Megadrive Collection, which features Sonic, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage.
