it depends on what you want out of a next gen system, if you want functionality go with the ps3 like hit on earlier it has blu-ray built in wifi bluetooh capable, online is free and updated with movies and tv shows for download or purchase and aas far as online it dose have hick ups but overall you dont need a gold sub. to download the latest game demos or themes , there is also going to be home and with that comes better servers and an overall better online service which in my opinion is a good online any way, plus you can just sign on and play online with anyone w/om any additional cost to you. now if you want a slew of games some mindless and some really good ones buy the 360, or be like me and get all 3

I'd say 360 because even though it costs cash to play online it's way better then ps3 online...

the ps3 is better it may coast more but think of wat it does it plays blu ray and regular dvds the 360 only plays dvds unless u buy the extra hd drive n since hd is dead thats stupid and buyin the hd piece wit the 360 would coast almost $400 and u pay $50 for online thats over $400 u can get a ps3 wit a blu ray player built in and free online for jus $400 tell me wat sounds like a better deal and oh the ps3 has more but im not gonna get into all that jus the basics
