What is better to see in Berlin germany. The berlin zoo and aquarium or the tiergarten?

im kinda confused the tiergarten and the zoo seem to be alike, but i think the zoo is bigger and the garten focuses on less animals but more quantity and quality maybe?? I have a 3 year old i want to take.

Berlin Zoo is the zoo with animals and 'Tiergarten' is just a park called Tiergarten.

There is the zoo with the aquarium which is located in Tiergarten. Tiergarten is the name of the district AND the name of the biggest park in Berlin.

Then there is the Tierpark, which is located in the eastern part of Berlin. I favour the latter. They got more animals, are bigger and the atmosphere is more relaxed than at the zoo. But that's my personal opinion.
