utorrent is the better program.  That said, getting files by torrent (regardless of the torrent program you use), unless you know the source (you're downloading from individuals, not from the web site from which you get the torrent file) is dangerous - the file can be good, or it can be loaded with a virus, Trojan or worse.

And even if it's clean, it can be a bad (it won't work) file.  Most people, when they download a bad file by torrent, don't remove it from the torrent program's directory, so everyone else can download that bad file.

utorrent is much better last I tried it.

I would also recommend Azureus [ http://azureus.sourceforge.net/ ] if you are looking for something that is very feature rich. However it can be a bit of a resource hog.

uTorrent for sure. Its the tiniest program and it doesn't interfere with anything else. it's pretty d**n user friendly too and no malware to deal with unlike bittorrent.

i prefer utorrent its simple, user friendly and easy as heck to use, plus no ad/mal/spyware
