What is better walking around in Ensenada Mexico or Rosarito Mexico?

This is a during the day trip....your advice would be appreciated.....thanks

I prefer Rosarito by far.  But, I think this depends on your tastes- if you're looking for more traditional, tranquil, less touristy beaches, then definitely go for Ensenada.  If you're ok with slightly higher crowds, more americanized surroundings, etc- then Rosarito is for you.  I also like Rosarito because it's closer to the states- an easy drive.  ;)

Both are good for walking, shopping dining. Rosarito is closer to the border; the old Rosarito beach hotel is worth a visit, fabulous tile work, clean bathrooms, restaurant food is OK but a bit pricey... bar on the observation pier has a hand painted ceiling of hula dancers circa 1920s that is a find.

I would say that neither is a good walk . But out of the two Ensenada is more authentic than Rosarito. You should probably start at the fish market and make you way towards downtown, but just as Rosarito, both of these areas are tourist traps. For a way cooler day trip in Ensenada you are better off doing the Ensenada wine route. It just before you get to Ensenada, check out the link I posted.
