  1. Black, White and Grey.  Never heard of Grey magick.  The black and white refer to intent.

Black is generally connotated with the negative aspect, while White is connotated with positive aspects.

However, you cannot have one without the other.  Some practitioners strictly follow the "harm none your will be done".  But, when thinking this way, if for example, you cast to get that great job for yourself, in retrospect, someone else is not going to get that job and may suffer from it.

For every action there is a reaction.

To cast against a child molester to be impotent would be considered harming someone, however, in retrospect again it would benefit the potential child victims than he may no longer be capable to prey upon.

While we none know the truth of universal justice, asking for guidance in any endeavor is wise.

Belief is to power what knowledge is to skill, if you have both, you should be fine.

  2. think of this in terms of yin and yang.  black: night, female energies.

                                                            white: day, male energies.

                                                          gray: neutral.

no you do not have to be a Witch. if you are naturally gifted, and you truly believe in your self, then you can still work with magic.

  3. Magic isn't color coded and you have to have knowledge to have your spells work.

  4. Nothing really.

Magic is energy, and energy has no color.

(Though some like to try to label it with a color instead of just saying what they really mean, so black implies "negative" or "evil", white implies "good", and grey implies "neutral" or balanced.)

    "Which" is a choice.  Either/or.

A Witch is one who practices witchcraft and yes, that does include spellcraft.  But there are many magical practices out there of which witchcraft is but one.

With the proper foundation of knowledge of the mechanics of magic, with study and practice, anyone could make it work.

  5. Many consider black magic to be negative, for personal gain, curses, hexes, causing harm, etc.  White magic is all good, fluffy and for the benefit of mankind. Personally, I don't believe in black, white or "grey" magic (never even heard of grey magic).  There is just magic.  Whether it has a positive intent or a negative intent,  magic is magic.  And I don't agree with the three-fold law.  I believe in Karma, but that's not necessarily the same thing.   And you do have to be somewhat experienced to cast spells successfully.  You don't have to be born a witch (inherited or passed down through family), but you do have to learn and practice before you'd be any good with magic.  Some people have a knack for magic and can learn easily while others struggle to be successful.  It just all depends on the person.

  6. Black Magic is what lulu casts on Fiends such as (thunder, blizzard etc) White magic is what Yuna Casts to Heal! duh
