  1. Your blood pressure is pretty much the momentum of your blood in your veins. It's based on the force applied by your blood according to how fast it is going.

Your activity can increase your blood pressure by increasing the need for oxygen and nutrients to your muscles. When you run, swim, or do a lot of heavy lifting, your muscles need more oxygen and nutrients, just like you have to apply a lot of pressure to your gas pedal to get your car up a really steep hill. Therefore, your blood will run much faster through your veins to deliver the needed fuel to your muscles, and the faster the pace of your blood, the higher your blood pressure gets. So, increased activity = increased blood pressure.

  2. ~blood pressure is a measurement, like it implies, to measure the pressure of your blood flow. When your blood pressure is taken, they squeeze your arm until the blood flow is cut off. when they release the pressure and blood starts to flow again, they can hear the point of flow. Think of it as like a water hose. if it comes out fast and hard, the pressure is high. Slow, the pressure is low. Activity affects bp since your heart rate goes up, causing your flow to increase.~
