  1. Bragg Liquid Aminos is a liquid protein concentrate, derived from soybeans, that contains many Essential and Non-essential Amino Acids in naturally occurring amounts. It is basically used as a low-sodium alternative to soy sauce.

  2. It's a seasoning with all the essential amino acids you need, plenty of protein, and it's vegan. It's just a really popular seasoning or additive, like nutritional yeast:

  3. It's very similar in taste to soy sauce.  You could substitute soy sauce in most recipes.  Braggs is just a healthier substitute.

  4. Bragg's Liquid Aminos is made from soybeans and water and is similar to soy sauce in flavor.  In fact, many vegan recipes are writtetn so that you can use soy sauce, tamari, and Bragg's interchangeably.  Some raw foodists use it because it is minimally processed.

Bragg's also makes a cider vinegar.

  5. It tastes like soy sauce or tamari, but it's not fermented, and it's not nearly as high in sodium or salt.  You could substitute a drizzle of soya sauce or tamari if you're having difficulty finding it.  It provides a meaty flavor, or a complex flavor in an otherwise more bland dish.

Braggs contains following essential Amino Acids:

    Arginine * Aspartic * Lysine * Glutamic * Serine * Threonine * Alanine * Glycine * Proline * Isoleucine * Methionine * Valine * Phenylalanine * Tyrosine * Leucine.

Bragg Liquid Aminos contains NO artificial color, flavor or preservatives.
