British Columbia has MANY interesting and BEAUTIFUL things to see ....  From just west of BANFF to Vancouver Island,   from Vancouver up the SUNSHINE COAST past  Chichago Island to the north, there is just SO much to see...  Near Banff is some of the best skiing in Canada (snow skiing)  the coastal waters from Washington State (USA) up through British Columbia is some of the most beautiful shoreline in the western hemisphere.... the mountains come right down to the water's edge... the small towns and villages are so picturesque and the indian villages are absolutely beautiful....  The LAND in BC is spectacular... and fishing is just fantastic... there is NOTHING better then being out on the sunny Pacific Ocean and latching on to a beautiful Huge Coho or Shinook Salmon...   My parents live in a small BC coastal town called Pender Harbor---it is SUCH a beautiful little town---as are ALL the little towns up and down the west coast of BC....   For city life,  there is Vancouver... a huge EXTREMELY clean port city  on the bay...it has everything a big city needs and more... the people are warm and friendly just as they are int he smaller coastal towns... the homes are set on "cliffs" along the oceanside.. and there is a good mix of historic and modern archetecture...   Throughout BC there is an over abundance of rivers, lakes, streams, camping areas and fantastic views....  The climate is not all that cold in the winter (getting no lower then 30 degrees along the coastal areas with MINIMAL ice and snow)...but LOTS of rain in the winter to Beautiful non-humid sunny days in the summer.... People are out mowing lawns in FEBRUARY ... I would recommend BC for ANY vacation ....   it's also a VERY good place to live...
