Haha there are many answers to this question. Bronzer can be for your body or for your face or both. bronzer is just something use to make you darker with a more rich golden glow. You can use it at tanning booths and apply it before you tan to get a more golden glow or you can buy it as a lotion and apply it (no tanning bed needed) to your skin to look more golden. You can apply it as make- up like on your cheeks like blush. Basically it is to give you a more healthy "i spend lots of time in the sun" glow with out the harmful effects of too much sun and less time.
