i think what your friend is referring to is actually "earwax" hash (some also refer to it as an oil). it is yellow and sticky, like the consistency of earwax, when you freeze it, it stays soft. it is highly potent and only takes a pinhead  piece on a bowl to have you completely blazed. when you light it it melts over the marijuana, which classifies it as a "full melt" hash... i think it is a combination of bubble hash and hash oil... it sells for about $60 a gram on the street and it available in many Californian clinics

as for the green ogre, i have never heard of that nor does a google inquiry return any results... a grower can call their strain anything they want.... so perhaps it is a strain specific to a grower that is local to your area... or more likely, sometimes pushers will name their weed to make it more appealing to buyers so they will keep coming back because they are the ones that have the "name brand" bud.... don't fall for that.
