What is called when the radio mixes different songs together?

I was listening to the radio, and I heard Umbrella by rihanna, and all of the sudden its switched to Low by Flo Rida but it still had the same beat/tune from umbrella.

Well a "radio mix" is when a part of the song is looped so that the announcer/DJ can do a little voice over, etc. Maybe this was an [un]official remix by a commercial DJ?

They like to call 'em Mash-up's these days. Like Korn and Dem Franchiz Boyz or like Jayz/Linkin Park.
