We're going to Camden market soon but we're a bit confused; is it on every day, or is it on some kind of schedule?

We're planning on going on a Saturday or Sunday, but we'd really like to know!

Thankyouuu x

  1. Camden market is open everyday. Most of the shops and stalls open between 10 or 11a.m. so don't go too early. One area of the market remains closed for rebuilding due to a fire a couple of months back, but there is plenty to see and do. Enjoy.

  2. CAMDEN LOCK MARKET - Open 7 days a week 10am - 6pm

Stalls are trading here every day with four to five times more stalls at weekends.

Shops are open most days. The venues for entertainment and food evenings are open 'til late.

Camden pretty much swings all day everyday.

    GETTING TO CAMDEN LOCK

    BY TRAIN

Camden Road and Kentish Town stations on the overground will get you to within walking distance of the market.

    BY BUS

Buses passing Camden Lock include nos 24, 27, 29, 31, 68 (sundays), 74, 134, 135, 168, 214, 253 and the C2. For help with buses please see the 'Where to Catch your Bus' poster at local bus stops.

    BY TUBE

Camden Town and Chalk Farm Road stations on the Northern Line are nearest the Market. Please note that on Sunday afternoons in the summer entry into Camden Town Station will be prohibited to relieve congestion. The station may be used for one wayout and interchange only. You will need to enter at an alternative station.

    BY WATERBUS

London Waterbus Company runs a regular service on the canal from Little Venice and London Zoo, Regent's Park straight to the Market's Canal Basin. More details are available here.

    BY FOOT

You can walk along the Canal from 8am until dusk. You can walk to the market from where ever you happen to be. Meander through Camden, just make sure you get to the original Camden market - Camden Lock Market. The best but quite busy day is Saturday loads of fun. Word of caution beware of pickpockets.
