In forrest recently, a VERY small 2 bedroom house on a block of 1500m2 was sold for more than 2million dollars.

BUT definitely not red hill because half of the suburb is flats and units with druggos etc while the other half is just so rich. Theres a big inequality. Although the most expensive properties sold are in red hill.

I would say the inner city suburbs like Red Hill, Forrest, Manuka or Kingston. Houses here range from maybe $700,000 into the millions.

Traditionally, i think Mugga Way in Red Hill has always been thought of as 'the richest street in Canberra' (or one of)

Recently a small 2 bedroom 'shack' in Forrest sold for over 2 million dollars:

I assume they're going to knock it down and rebuild a huge mansion, but i think $2million is alot of money for a block of land in Canberra!
