What is cape cod like?

i've always wanted to go there. i'm thinking of vacationing there next summer.

its really beachy. its much different then souther or western US. the water is warm if you go to the beaches on the south side of the cape, and its cold on the north side haha. (so i would recommend going on to beaches on the south side) the mall isn't all that great, but there are some off cape that are really nice. by the way this is the 2nd question ive answered for you hahahah your questions are so random

It's nice, you'll like it but it gets very crowded in summer.

If you like non-stop sun it's overcast much of the time but there are some really nice beaches.

Cape proper, Provincetown, your in for some cool cultural vibe.

If your referring to the islands, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, you better be rich, famous, or a fisherman, as you have no other use there.

It's everything! There are bay beaches with beautiful sunsets, ocean beaches, ponds, woods with some really nice hiking trails, nightlife in certain areas, quiet in others. It's artsy and artistic, from one end of the spectrum to the other. There are some really nice main streets to browse (Chatham & Provincetown come to mind), whale watches, dune tours...If you come in the summer you can "change gears" and just do whatever your mood dictates very easily....

Cape Cod is more than just 'beachy' and for the record, the waters are warmer on the bay side....many parts of the Cape offer many different things, just depends on whether you want the artsy side, the ecclectic side, the party side or of course, the beach.There are so many fun things to do depending on your tastes and budget...go to capecod.com to learn more about the Cape....the mall isn't that bad for the location unless you're 14...lol...seriously, just google cape cod, ma and see what comes up...
