What is causing my Pepper plants to shed healthy looking leaves?

Until today, healthy looking green and yellow pepper plants with lots of peppers ready to pick within the next week. Today while watering, the leaves started falling off! Looked to see if there were bugs, couldn't see any. Only 2 or 3 leaves showed any holes or spots on them. I lost 2 zucchini plants recently from stems rotting and I saw some bugs in the dirt when I went to discard the plant. Could this same pest be now working on my pepper plants? What should I do?

  1. Sounds like your pepper plants are getting to much water.

  2. Spray them with a pyrethrum...a natural inssecticide made from chrysanthiums..here some info on that Home Depot handles these products..
