When my car (a 1996 Neon with about 86,000 miles on it) reaches 20 mph is lurches (jerks) forward. This only happened recently. What is causing this? When at higher speeds, the car seems to run fine. thx.

  1. Make sure you have the correct type transmission fluid and the correct amount!

If you have had it changed lately, they could have put the in the wrong type!

If you haven't had it changed maybe you should change the fluid and filter, this is part of regular scheduled maintenance.

    See links below!

    Good luck!
