  1. This could be absolutely anything.... it could be

*your compressor (may be about to go bad. If this goes bad, you wont have a car any more until you get it replaced. Your belt probably wraps around this as well, in addition to the cam and crankshaft)

**loose bearings in your wheel (not cool)

***engine pinging/misfiring (does it rattle worse goin up hills, and does it struggle to get up the hill? if its this, invest in higher octane gas. If that doesnt work, has your car overheated before, and you pushed to the limit? you may have warped valves or valve seats)

****busted CAT/muffler/exhaust connection/pipes (have you lost power since you began hearing this sound?)

it would help if you were more specific as to where it is, how often you hear it, under what conditions you hear it

  2. More info please!

    When does it make it?

Where is it coming from (Front, back, inside, outside etc)?

It could be anything from your brakes to the boyfriend you have in the trunk. Giving us more details will help us help you.

  3. maybe its the loose nut behind the wheel making the rattling sound, but on a lighter note, we really need more information to diagnose the problem. It could be anything from a missing body bushing, to a bolt missing from your brake caliper...... Wayyy more info is needed

  4. Well, something is loose and rattling. You could provide some details. What kind of sound, where is the sound coming from, when does it do it, does it stop when you do a particular thing. You know....information.

  5. it could be the brakes!

  6. First of all you have to know where the sound is coming from, Sound can bounce around so it may sound like its coming from the right side when it’s coming from the left. What kind and year is the car? it could be sway bar pins, brakes, worn upper or lower ball joints etc.... lots of things. Need more info.
