What is ccApps in windows.

ccApps appears when i try to shut down XPSP2

CCAPP is part of Norton/Symantec Antivirus.  On my XP machine it, too, sometimes is reluctant to shutdown.  Don't worry about it.  It usually quits after a while.

This is a virus or Trojan, you should immediately do a virus check and delete it. Then you will not have a problem anymore.

This is not from personal knowlege, it came up when i typed it into google

Don't worry as it's part of Norton/Symantec, sometimes it doesn't close automatically immediately & takes it time to do so.
