  1. The cheapest way to travel within germany BY FAR is

    http://www.mitfahrgelegenheit.de

you put from where to where u want to travel and the date, and a list shows up of people that are travelling that way in their cars, and will only charge u for gas!! they win, u win.

  2. Hi,

how many people? For one person take the train- check spezial prizes like (Schönes Wochenend Ticket - translation: happy weekend tiket)

For more than two people take a car. From Europcar maybe if you are in the military you get very cheap proces or book it as a company.

    Good luck

  3. The cheapest and best option in my opinion is to travel by train.

The train system in Germany is fast and efficient.

Best option is to buy a German Rail Pass (for travel only in Germany)...and buy the amount of days you wish to travel.

Or for other countries you can purchase a Eurail Pass or Select Pass, which lets you travel to 3, 4,5 countries etc. for a certain number of days.

Just remember, though, that sometimes its cheaper to pay for a point to point ticket, especially for a short journey... instead of using a day from your train pass.

Here's some links to give you an idea of how these passes work...

  6. RyanAir.com or EasyJet.com, though Ryan Air is sooo much better ... or you can simply take a train if you have some time.

  7. Hi there!  Not sure on the planes, but I took the train from Hamburg to Berlin in 2 hours.....was a pleasant ride, the trains were clean, and it was very fast.  I would look into that option as well.
