What is cheerleading varsity??

i love cheer leading me and my friends do it for fun but now that im going into middle school there is a acuctal team and i want to try out but i have one question.

WHAT IN THE WORLD IS VARSITY???

In cheer leading there is Junior Varsity and Varsity Junior Varsity is the not that good team they Varsity mean the better team and to be on Varsity you normally have to be really good a tumbling really good and experience at cheer leading

Varsity usually means a higher level, one step forward than others....Varsity=University level.

middle school does not have varsity teams. they usually have a team for each grade or one big team. in high school they have 3 teams: freshman, Junior varsity (jv), and varsity. (varsity being the best)

you have a varsity team in middle school we just had 6th 7th and 8th. ive been a cheerleader for 3 years now and I'm on JV (junior varsity.) for my high school we have lowest being freshman. next JV or junior varsity. and highest would be Varsity.and cheerleading doesn't have teams. we have squads. just so you know I'm not trying to be mean. i just wanted you to know.hope I helped.
