What is child support income?

I am curious because the lady who was going to rent our house said that she gets an extra $500 per week in child support income. Do you know what it is for.

child support is money that a mother is awarded by the state or it could be a verbal agreement between both mother and father, this money is to take care of the child/ children that they have together. but i would ask to see the proof becasue 500 is a alot to pay a week in child support even for a wealthy man

That means that her child's father is paying her child support. She is supposed to claim that money as a means of income. That is why she's telling you about it.

Wow... $500 a week is a LOT! She more than likely meant $500 a month.

It's what the father of her child pays for child support...per month-week.

$500 a week??   That's a LOT.  I would ask for proof of that because her ex husband would have to make quite a high salary to pay that much.

  It's money she get's because she was too was to stupid to use birth control and popped out some guy's kids.  Something I like to call vagimony.  Most of the time very little of this money goes to support the child.
