  1. For me, it was a experience I will never forget. Yes it is not easy seeing your partner in pain and there is very little you can do about it, but being there with/for her is part of being a man. seeing my son for the first time was magical and cant explain it in words. Over the nine months the mother has a very intimate relationship with the growing baby and as a dad, you have very little to do with the baby. So the first time you hold and see your child is for me anyway, a miracle and blessing.

  2. am guessing it's like staring into the abyss?

  3. My husband kept his hand on one side like a blinder the whole time so he could only see me it was so funny, he did not want to see the blood etc. He walked back in after taking our daughter to the nursery and the placenta was on the table he turned ghostly white and almost passed out. My doctor and I got a good laugh out of that one. And he even went back with me for the next baby.

Great question though, I will be checking back to see what men say.

  4. v scarey, first you are in an area full of pregnant women & when it comes to the actual birth the nurses, midwife treat you like a spare piece. Its not for men with a faint stomach.(most of us)

It was a stressful,painful,worrying,exhausting,fr... etc experience but also wonderful. To see your son/daughter being born is an incredible experience.

  5. lol,

    Just asked my partner....

    Bloody terrifying!

  6. Isnt it funny how you ask for a guy's point of view as to how child birth looks, and some women still have the compulsion to answer, just an observation!!

As for the birth, im soon to go through it any day now, and from the point of view of a man in moments before, its pretty scary yet exciting at the same time, im already gettin emotional, got all my lil routines practiced.. ready to have my hand crushed and be sworn at profusley, i love her so much and cant wait despite how scary its goin to be.

theres nowhere else i want to be

  7. I think it depends on the man. I am answering for my husband who will be delivering our child at home. He is looking forward to the experience.
