  1. chop is noodles foo is egg ommelette kung po is a spicey sauce

  2. Actually with the exception of Chop Suey, Foo Rong and Kung Pao have their origins in China.

Foo Rong with shrimps (or lobster meat) in China is not prepared with ham or bean sprouts. It's simply stir frying eggs with the said meat. And Foo Rong actually refers to egg white not the entire egg.

Kung Pao originally is a relatively light dish cooked with chicken and spinach leaves. Dried chili is used but the sauce isn't as heavy as those Americanized version. No, the original recipe didn't care for bell peppers or onions, or honey or orange/lemon peels.

  3. Americanized Chinese food -- you won't find them in Chinese cookbooks.

  4. American inventions of chinese food. No real chinese person would ever go near either of them.

  5. chop suey is a dish with mainly bean sprout

foo yung is similar with omlette

kung pao is a dish with spicy sauce

the above 3 dishes might vary in the way they make them.
