  1. As far as I know, Civics is part of the Junior High Social Studies curriculum; Government is covered in High School

  2. Civics is the science of comparative government and means of administering public trusts—the theory of governance as applied to state institutions. It is usually considered a branch of applied ethics and is certainly part of politics.

  3. Civics is basically the study and comparison of governments and items related to government and politics.

There are many things our public education systems do not teach or do not teach properly and civics, government, politics, economics and history are some of the most important things they lack.

The other thing our school no longer do is teach how great America is, how great capitalism is and why we have the best setup in the world and it is mostly due to our great Founding Fathers.

Most schools no longer have the pledge of allegiance either.

Our schools have fallen over the years and now are mostly nothing more than places where teachers & administrators live off the public trough at the expense & detrement of taxpayers, parents and children.

Your parents and the community should take back the local school board and implement better & pro-American curriculum in your district.  Maybe you can help turn it around and be part of the solution.

Good luck, God bless you and God bless America.
