the classical scientists have contributed much to the development of the world and our society. unbeknown to many of us, they set  our present mental model.  they talk of the sun being the centre of the universe and that there are many more worlds beyond our imagination.  

remember the dark ages .  it was the clergy who said the world is flat! and this was as recent as 700 yrs ago.  the clergy has indeed put us back several thousand yrs in our progress for an ever-advancing civlization.  

the clergy with their little / perverted / misconstrued knowledge should hv confined themselves to their own domain and shldnt have challenged science.  this led to the rift between science and religion which till today has not been healed.

thank GOD!  science managed to develop and make us progress.  I'm sure this is GOD's will despite the opposition fr the clergy.  therefore we must try to find ways to harmonize science and religion, gender equality, new thinking to usher in a new world order
