How much does it cost if you go to college in USA? But really, im looking for an example what si college tution and what it means..

each college is different with expenses.

to get a clear picture of how much tuition is; contact a college online or by phone requesting a catalog... or look at their catalog online to see...many colleges have that online.....

That depends on the kind of college you are going to.  Private colleges are usually more expensive than public ones.  Community colleges, also called "junior colleges," are cheaper and can be just as wonderful if not better!  They can be a great way to start out!

When I first started college back in 1996, it cost around $1,300 per semester for tuition and books at the community college I went to.  Prices, of course, have gone up since then.  You might go to different college sites and look up the tution and fees for each one.   You can also call them up and ask.

You can also get free money for college by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov.  That wil help you apply for free financial aid.  FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid  I got it almost every year, and it really helped a lot!

Tuition is the amount each course costs to take at school.  However, you will see a lot of odd "fees" built in which usually double the cost.  However, getting a good college education often pays off in the long run, so go for it!
