  1. Yellow in Barcelona

Most of the rest is green and white

  2. normally white.do not use the others ,they will not be insured.

  3. In Salamanca they are white with a blue stripe.  But look for the little light on the top - hopefully it is lit up saying "Libre" that means free (as in available).

  4. black and yellow

  5. White with a green stripe on the door in Benidorm

  6. The taxis are always white with different coloured stripe, it depends the part of the city, the region of comunidad autonoma etc...

And in Barcelona are black with a yellow stripe.

    I am Spanish.

  7. white

    with differant coloured writing.

  8. I thought they were a sort of pale vomit colour.

  9. They are all colours just like here, well the ones I've used are anyway.

  10. Hi! I'm spanish, so I know what is the colour of the taxis. They're WHITE WITH A GREEN LINE.

I wait that I had helped you!!

    Bye.

  11. It depends on the city of Spain. Different colour of taxis in different citys. They all have an SP write on the plaque. It means (Servicio Público) public service. Don't worry! Enjoy Spain!

Taxis from the centre of Barcelona are black with a yelow stripe but at the outskirts of Barcelona they would be whatever colour. One time I was in a neighborhood at the outskirts of Barcelona and I  call up for a taxi. I was waiting for a black yelow striped one but the one which came was grey and the driver asked me If I had called up for a taxi.

    I'm spanish

  12. Depends where you are.

    Madrid  =  Black/red

    Barcelona    (was) black/yellow,

Here on the costa del sol,     white.

SP Taxis  - black/very dark blue.

  13. normally they are white. Sometimes black. In Barcelona they are black with a yellow line.

  14. As far as I have seen Barcelona is the only place where you find the black and yellow cabs.  White is one of the basic colour choices for new cars so most taxis are white and in many cities they have stripes of red or blue or yellow depending on their city of licence.  All taxis (and some other vehicles) have the SP plate on the back for servicio publico and they will also have a taxi registration plate somewhere on the rear.  Most city taxis will also have a roof mounted box which shows a green light if available for hire.  Many country taxis do not have this roof light.  City taxis are bound by rules set by the city within city boundary limits.  Country taxis are not so bound and for all journeys other than short city metered rides, it is good to try and set a fare beforehand.  Airport taxis are renknown for overcharging but often the respective city sets a legal limit from airport to city.  They do charge an airport supplement and also charge for baggage put in the boot/trunk.  Taxis are generally cheaper in Spain than in other countries and most are not rip-off merchants but there are a few.  They are usually very strict about which taxi is first in the taxi rank to pick up the next fare but other than in taxi ranks, generally in cities look out for the green roof light as a taxi you can flag down and hire.

  15. In Barcelona they are Black , White , or Green.. but most of the other Spanish cities have the same colors..

    Take care.

  16. Mostly white with green writing

  17. It depends on the city. In general here taxis are white and they all have a license. Then in Some places like in Barcelona they are black and yellow, but in general, they are white.
