  1. I have only been there once but I can tell you it is amazingly beautiful and I would move there in a heartbeat, as a matter of fact, I do hope to move there one day.  I went to Colorado Springs and loved it.  It is a smaller city but not too small.  And the mountains are the backdrop, so you always have a mountain view.  There is so much to do there, so many parks and hiking.  I was there in summer and it was a little hot, but I think they get all four seasons and I cannot even imagine how beautiful it is the winter.  As far as cost of living, I think it's very affordable compared to much of the country.  I look at house prices in Colo Springs online a lot and you can get a much better house than you can here in VA there for the same price.  I don't know much about the rest of the state, but I say go for it, I can't imagine you'd be unhappy there!

  2. It's one of the prettiest States in the Union... if you have never been there... then go look around.  I lived in the Denver area for a couple of years and loved it.

  3. Colorado really is beautiful.  I live in Colorado Springs, and the mountains are right on the edge of town.  It's a mountain view everywhere you go.  Even the views from Wal-Mart are amazing.  :)

The weather is very mild, with low humidity, which I enjoy.  And here in Colorado Springs we get over 300 sunny days per year.  Not much snow sticks around here in the winter, but if you want snow, just drive 20 minutes into the mountains and you'll get plenty!

If you decide to move here, check out the links below.

    Good luck!

  4. It's beautiful! The mountain views are incredible and Denver is a really nice city--great shopping, restaurants, sports, etc. Boulder, is a fun, hippy college town...but more expensive then Denver or Colorado Springs.  There are so many great little places to see in Colorado!

I'm actually planning on moving there to Denver within the year...so I've been researching a lot.  Depending on where you are coming from, the cost of living is reasonable.  I live in the NY/NJ area so rent out in Denver is a little cheaper....but if you like in the midwest or south, then you will find rent to be a bit more expensive.

Overall, I think many people are happy living out there.  It does get cold in the winter...but it is very sunny throughout the yr...so snow melts pretty fast in places like Denver.  If you were to live in the mountains, then you will have a lot more snow.

If you like the outdoors, going to sporting events...then you will probably enjoy Denver!   Denver is not a real sophisticated city like NY or San Fran....slower paced, more laid-back and relaxed...but that's what I find so appealing about it!
