What is conchi? (referring to Japanese food.)?

I was reading a review of a local Japanese restaurant, and the reviewer mentioned that the restaurant had "conchi in a light spicy sauce." I've tried to look up what it is, but I can't find any answers. Does anyone know?

  2. I have a feeling the article might be referring to a style of cooking from the "Konchi" area of japan.  It would be like saying "Philadelphia Cheese Steak."

  4. i think its a typo. there is a shell fish called a conch used in japanese cooking
