I have a 100 dollar CSA note from 1862, I know it's the real thing because it was passed down in my family.

  1. The paper it's printed on. Still too much around to have much value. So much counterfeit Confederate money too.

  2. It may have value as a collectors' item. Like Cuban stock certificates, baseball cards, and any other collectible.  I assume the value of all the above mentioned would depend on the condition.  There is a possibility of counterfeiting in all of these categories, I imagine.

  3. It depends on the type of bill and the condition. Most of it is not worth much, but in uncirculated condition some can be very valuable. The highest price I have seen is $76,000 for a $5 "HOYER & LUDWIG, RICHMOND, VA" bill in "uncirculated" condition with a loading cannon picture on the left and an Indian princess picture on the right of the face of the bill.

Without knowing which confederate bill you have or its condition there is no way to estimate its value.

  4. probably nothing for there to be any real value it would have to preserved (in a sleeve), be uncirculated and be unique

  5. Nothing
