  1. The protection, improvement and wise use of existing trees to provide the greatest social and economic value for the present and future

  2. conservation is the act of protecting the worlds resources. whethat it be wildlife, plants or land. its the act of saving

in terms of trees it could be growing or protecting a forest. this increses the number of trees while protecting them

  3. conservation is the protection of a area of trees from deforestation.

  4. conservation and reforestration should go together. the first one has something to do with protecting the trees, avoid cuttig down trees and studying its effect on humans, wile the latter means planting seedlings or trees that would replace those trees which have been cut or brought down by unavoidable circumstances.

  5. conserving means setting aside an area of habitat to be left in a pristine state- or having it rehabilitated to a natural state. This means that an ecosystem must have all of the right balances in cycling (nutrients and water), soil, and also needs to have the right structural components -like mature trees, seedlings and the correct (endemic) species.

  6. The preserving of the natural world.......of course

  7. conservation means to use something in a very balanced way.as we cut trees and conserve as fuel. Its necessary but we should also plant trees for further use.

  8. Conservation is NOT preservation. Conservation may be defined as "wise use". Under that, a patch of virgin forest may be preserved, if that is the best use for it. Sometimes, you want the exact antithesis, when you try to eliminate an invasive species. Sometimes you want to manage a forest or woodlot to give you a sustained yield. All these are conservation.
