Conservation of energy. We use less energy in our daily lives so it would prolong the lives of our non-renewable sources of energy. It's basically like using less electricity like turning off appliances when no one's using them so that other people who really need it will be able to use it.

And aside from the worldwide panic and confusion it helps alleviate, conserving energy also cuts down on the electricity bills.

the amount of fuels on the earth is limited and if the fuels get exhausted, the earth will fall into darkness forever, as fuels like natural gas, coal, mineral oil give us energy. conservation of energy is just to save water, electricity and fuels. due to industry chemical waste smokes and etc. disrupt the ozone layer.ozone layer is made up of oxygen. if the ozone gets destroyed, the sun's harmful UV rays will attack the earth and all people will die.that is why people plant saplings to keep the ozone balanced because plants give out oxygen.

the emission of greenhouse gases like methane and carbondioxide also disrupts ozone.AC and refrigerators and all appliances contain chlorofluorocarbons, which keep reducing the ozone. thats why we should make least use of ACs and save electricity.

WAYS OF CONSERVATION OF ENERGY:

plant fast growing trees at least 6 trees a year.

put off lights, fans, TV, etc. when not in use.

use CNG fuel in automobiles.

prefer public transport than private, it helps save fuel.

use energy efficient appliances at home.

put off flowing taps of water when not using.

put the water tap at low level while washing etc.speed to save water.

prevent soil erosion and trees will be saved.

for making papers use bagase of sugarcane instead of tree barks.

after washing clothes, use the waste water in flush to save water.

for bathing prevent the shower or bathtub. use the good old bucket system instead.

factory chimneys should be fitted with filters to save ozone.

We need to conserve energy to save money.  In a utopian world you might get people to conserve by just saying conserve, but in the real world we need capitalism to be the answer.  With gas prices rising you will see a real drop usage.  When the price of the florescent light bulbs became financailly practical I started buying them.
