What is considered a Low, Avg, and High amount of hrs for a waveruner?

I'd like to get a SeaDoo RXP 2006 and was wondering what is considered a low, average and high amount of hrs on one?

  4. OK, for the long answer, look at the ICOMIA documents regarding engine durability for marine engines on outboards, PWC's and other types.  This is the link:

    Short answer, assume it has three riding seasons in a seasonal environment, like the midwest, and I would say 100-150 hours is average.  If it's from Florida or southern California, who knows.  Anyway, expect a life of 350 hours or five years, per the ICOMIA standard, which is what manufacturers test to.  Other questions to consider:  Was it ridden in salt water (bad news), was the owner an idiot (also bad news).  Was it stored in the water?  I work for Bombardier, but in the outboard engine division, and I know how these are life tested.  Post more info, please.  Salt or fresh, how many hours does it have?
