  1. usually when a player is in his mid to late-20s

  2. 27-32 but it depends because some players tend to develop later on and some (like ryan howard) dont get a chance to play in the bigs because there are great players blocking them (jim thome)

  3. It really varies now a days. From 26-33 is usually the prime peak years for most but some peak earlier than that and some later than that.

  4. 26-32 maybe It's kind of hard because soometimes you get players who get to their prime early in their career or people who are in their prime for many many years like a Jamie Moyer. If you consider him in his prime.

  5. The classic answer is 27-32, I believe this was thought to be a players prime because he would still be in top physical condition, while having gained the experience to use all his tools.

  6. Generally from 25-35.

  7. When their at the best point of their career...Usally a baseball players prime is from their mid 20's until their mid 30's.

  8. There is no specific date range for when a player reaches his prime. It is simply when they are putting up the best "numbers" in their career.

O yea the Micheal guy above me doesn't have a clue what he is talking about...If his statement were true then people like Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, or Lou Gehrig never had "primes" because free agency never existed during their time. Mental Midget?

  9. When they're playing the best baseball of their career.

  10. usually it is the big year the player has just before he becomes a free agent and signs with another club

  11. from the ages 28-30
