  1. Good Accounts for many many years, bad accounts stay 7 and ONE HALF (180) days after the account goes delinquent.  That is in the USA.

  2. FICO doe's not have a ranking scale but this is how the largest credit union in Oklahoma sees it;

    Elite 740 & up

    Prime 700-739

    Preferred 660-699

    Standard 625-659

    Sub-prime 624 & lower

    As far as how long accounts show if they are derogatory they show for 7-years from the date of first delinquency if they are good accounts they can show for anywhere from 10-15 years depending on the lender.

  3. A good credit score would be a number higher than 650.  Try to get yourself in the 700 range and you'll be set.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Credit scores from 750 up are in the highest bracket.  Most accounts will stay in your credit history for 7 years.

  5. 720 and up is GOOD but most people don't have that. Things stay on for 7 years.
