What is considered a harassing phone call?

A girl I used to go to school with is calling me between 1:30 am and 5:30 am. for the past couple days.

Tell her not to call.

On some cell phones, you can select a ringtone for a specific phone number that calls you. You can select a ringtone of silence so when the caller calls you, you don't hear the phone ring.

You could also change your cell number.

Also, call the cell phone company, like AT&T, T-Mobile, etc and ask them if they can block that cell number from calling you.

I would consider a harassing call someone who is either threatining you or continuing to call you after you asked them to stop. It is very strange to call someone that early in the morning. If you haven't told her stop it wouldn't really be considered harassing unless she was just doing it to be cruel. If you have told her to stop and she hasn't you can threaten to call the police.

If you have told her not to call you and she persists then it is harrassment.

cause that happened to me, it was actually very annoying because i knew it was her (i had proof and everything) but the number was always on private !

So I couldnt legally do anything about it, but if ypu have proper proof then report her!

This is considered to be harassing (and very annoying)

This question should go in the cell phone category.  I'll give you some pointers on what to do...

-Ask her again to stop calling you, if it does not some this is considered harassment.  Not to be mean or anything like that, but maybe mention that you'll get your number changed?
