I'm going to be a sophomore at the U of Arizona with a GPA of 3.58 majoring in Optical Sciences & Engineering. My first semester didn't go ideal since I racked up more B's than I needed because of borderline A's going into finals. Anyways, I calculated that I need 11 units of A's to go up to a 3.70. That is my next goal and after that I'm going to gradually increase since at this point it is somewhat easy to raise my GPA higher.

  1. Somewhere above 3.50 or 3.60 you'll probably get a "c um laude". I'd say a GPA that can get you a Latin honor is "higher end".

Edit: Haha, Yahoo censored the Latin word for "with". How lame.
