What is considered bulimia?

i just want to know one thing...

say a girl has every characteristic of bulimia, both the bingeing and purging, and the mental and emotional aspects... but she's not skinny. say her weight is just above what's considered normal weight.

is she considered bulimic?

and no, its not about me. there's a girl at school and i was just curious.

Yes.  Bulimics tend to be average to above average weights.  Your body holds on to some of the calories from binges.

if you have the simptoms [even if you dont look like it] you are considered bulimic.

Binging and purging is bulimia.

Most bulimics are not painfully skinny. But they nevertheless rip apart their bodies. I had a bulimic friend in high school. No one knew until she passed out while driving. She got help.

Bulimics are quite often not skinny but maintain a weight they can even be chubby .

Its a more  hidden illness than anorexia and many people have no idea of the suffering of the people close to them.
